We did the Bannockburn experience and had a fantastic guided tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. A great centre to learn about this fascinating battle.

As a Scottish National Trust Visitor experience, I was very disappointed in the museum. Firstly, the cafe was closed for meals and snacks, only offering cold drinks and some rather unappetising cakes. Secondly, the tour guide, although knowing the history, needs a lesson in presentation, in order to make the experience interesting. A different tour guide would, I imagine, be a totally different and pleasant experience, so I would still recommend it as a destination.

Unfortunately the visitor centre was closed when I visited but the car park and the battlefield site was open. Really interesting place and much more accessible (free parking) than other similar sites in Scotland like Culloden.

Brilliant guy who showed us around. Knew a lot about the history of the battle. It didn't matter about all the questions the group of us fired at him he had an answer for all of them. Everywhere lovely and clean. Gift shop and cafe expensive but I think places like that are. Would recommend you visit if interested in scottish history.

As National Trust Members, it was free to enter. Our timing was good, just before a storm. This is a great reminder of gory days in the past that I was taught about in school around 1314. At least it feels like that! There is an attractive looking café plus goodies, but we had a rather large breakfast not long before, so we did not go.

The staff are great, but the technology isn't. The main experience wasn't available when we visited because the projector system had broken down. Without that, the Centre is a coffee shop and a gift shop

We arrived at opening and were graciously welcomed by Joanna. She gave us a private tour of the experience. We greatly enjoyed the site and the history of this place.

Do not waste your time or money. Thoroughly disappointed. The “experience” was poor and not as advertised. The first portion is watching a computer graphic intro before entering the second portion. Here, there was no interactive game portion, rather the immersive experience is nothing more than simply watching more computer gaming characters on large screens while the tour guide tells you what is happening in the screens. One of the four screens was broken which made the experience even less. The tour guide was rude and ridiculously quick to scold people when not necessary.

Callum is the most knowledgeable person I've ever met on the history of Scotland as a whole and Robert the Bruce in particular. He has a PhD on the subject and a book out. And you can get a tour from this remarkable man!! Added to that you can actually handle replica armour and weaponry of the time!! Best tour we've had in Scotland and that's saying a LOT!! You 100% have to visit the centre and when you do, don't miss the tour!

The tour was good. Spoilt by the fact that two screens were not working. These are key ones in the battle story. It needs a refurbishment maybe the graphics are a bit dated. The exhibits of the weapons used is great but really would benefit from someone to explain their use. Overall not too bad

Great set up to explain Bannockburn. Good exhibits, enjoyed the animated films, chance to lift various weapons. Enjoyed guides, (Warick) explanations of the battle. Stunning statue. Time slotted, so expect a small wait if busy, only 5 a day. Some of the outside description boards are not exactly pointing the right direct, but it's still good.

La chose nous avait ete présentée comme une expérience "immersive". En fait il s'agit juste d'une visite guidée. Le parc situé sur le site de la bataille est accessible gratuitement

This was our first stop on our way to the highlands. We walked the grounds. It was free to walk around. There’s a lot of information on what took place here. They have a souvenir shop and cafe on site. Toilets were available too.

Absolutely fantastic. Hadn't been there for a few years and learned a lot more about the buildup to the battle and the battle tactics this time round. Tour guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. Kids and bigger kids also loved trying on the armour too.
